While most may wonder what the hell raccoons and turkeys have in common, well to be honest it’s not much other than one being the demise of the other. The ongoing war between predator and prey, raccoons happen to be one of the biggest threats to the growth of the turkey population. Coons seem to find their way into pretty much whatever they want including turkey nests, and what awaits them? Poults and eggs the future Toms of the world, that shit we crave come spring time. It’s important to make sure that you have a grip on predators when you have a piece of land like us, otherwise you won’t have much other than a piece of land. The picture attached is actually what we would call a reward, hell even a life long tangible memory from this seasons trapping season. One demon down, one hat in the closet.
